Aloha ,We are located at 1,000 foot elevation which makes for pretty perfect weather year round for exploring the island. July and August are the warmest with temps in the 80s. During the night, low 70s, make the hot tub feel pretty incredible.

You will find some of the best and safest snorkeling on the island about 30 minutes away at Richardson Beach in Hilo. We do have snorkel, chairs, cooler, to use and inflatable paddle boards to rent.

Just North of Hilo is the beautiful coastal drive where you will find amazing water falls, a botanical garden, zip line and much more! I have reference material in the vacation rental for your use.

If you're interested in a one-of-a-kind cultural experience, I'd highly recommend

Uncle Robert's Awa Bar and Farmers Market just down the road on Wednesday evenings. Don't forget

Volcanoes National Park. It's only 45 min from here, for a mind blowing place to explore.
